Bridging Tokens to Stellar Blockchain

How assets from other chains reach Stellar so you can trade them on Soroswap.

Soroswap trades assets that live on Stellar. To trade something issued on another chain, it has to be bridged onto Stellar first, and then, if you want to use it with Soroban contracts, wrapped.

Open the Bridge

Bridge into Stellar from the app’s Bridge tab.

Once an asset is on Stellar you still need a trustline for it before your account can hold it. The Soroswap API can open that trustline for the user inside the swap, see Gasless Trustline.
